Earn ACT 48 hours!

Education is at the heart of Code & Supply. While our main focus is professionals already in or seeking to enter the field, we recognize the importance of professional development of the teachers who have such a tremendous impact on primary and secondary students’ interest in computing.

We’ve partnered with Allegheny Intermediate Unit 3 and Midwestern Intermediate Unit 4 to help PA educators earn and log continuing education hours that satisfy ACT 48 requirements.

We will provide paperwork for you to complete that we will then file with your respective IU.

We will honor our $50 student rate for teachers paying out of their own pocket to attend the conference. Simply use your school email address for your C&S account and purchase the student ticket.

If $50 is a stretch, no worries: check out our scholarship fund. No one should not attend because their financial situation prevents it.

Filing your hours

Keep track of the time you spend in sessions. That amount of time in hours is what you’ll need to report to us. We’ll also need your PPID and name.

Please complete by 11:59 pm on August 31, 2019 our ACT 48 Hours for Abstractions II form. The data collected on this form will be sent to PDE shortly thereafter.

Other bodies

If you would like to have your attendance recognized by other bodies, contact Colin Dean.
